With great sadness Digmesa AG bids farewell to its founder, Heinz Plüss.
Heinz was exceptionally driven. His determination and strong will, combined with his passion for technology and inventions, paved the way for his success. In 1982, at the age of 50, he founded Digmesa AG, thereby realizing his long-standing vision and dream. Years earlier, he had been working on a groundbreaking idea in his garage: developing a device for the precise dosing of coffee. Even though he was initially met with skepticism, he pursued his goal and became more successful than he could ever have imagined. Heinz Plüss was a true pioneer who had a lasting impact on the world of flow measurement. His impact did not end there, Heinz left his mark on all that surrounded him. His commitment to people ran even deeper than his dedication in business. Heinz rarely spoke about himself and his achievements, preferring instead to mention the successes of his “Digmesa family.” He knew that a company can only excel if every single cog in the wheel does its part, and with this wisdom he led Digmesa. He always took care of his Digmesa family and gave all the freedom and trust to be creative and shine. Heinz knew this was the best way to achieve results. These values live on within each one of us at Digmesa. In memory of Heinz Plüss, we will nurture and preserve your vision and humanity.
